Xaver celebrated his 11th birthday on May 31st. He seemed to be a fit, healthy dog - certainly not looking his age. Six days later he went off his food, and was looking very unhappy. A trip to the emergency vet, and it became apparent that this was one very sick dog, and the decision was made to say farewell to him.

Xaver was Mr Cuddle - when we did the Country Fairs he was the dog that all the children wanted to cuddle. Never pushy or argumentative, not the brightest but always the best.

He only went to a few shows, but was very successful, most notably at the World Dog Show in Milan, 2015 where he took the Junior World Winner title, and also became an Italian Junior Champion.

To say that we are missing him is an understatement. Our hearts are broken.
