We were all very sad when we had to say goodbye to Xaver, especially Anika. For a little time she enjoyed being an only dog, with lots of special attention, but after a while she started to get lonely. Not far away there was another little dog who was feeling lonely too. His owners had had a change of lifestyle, and couldn't spend as much time with him as they used to do.

They loved him very much, and knew that they had to do the very best thing for Hector, but it's not an easy decision to make, so they spoke to his breeder, who suggested that he and Anika might become friends. There were lots of tears, and Hector wasn't quite sure at first why his owners didn't come back for him, but Anika thught that he seemed quite nice - and she does like having a Toy Boy around! So she told him that he would get plenty of fuss and lots of titbits, and he decided to stay.

Circumstances do change, and a good breeder will always take back one of 'their' puppies, without being judgemental.

Today, Anika took him to the beach.
