Quite a long time ago, the boss arranged with our friend Paul that, when it was Anika's time to say goodbye to us all, her half-sister Cilla would come to keep Xaver company.

That didn't work out too well, as we sadly lost Xaver so unexpectedly and it was Anika who was left by herself. But fate has a way of stepping in, and it was Hector who came to live with her, although all too soon Anika let us know that she wanted to leave us too, so then Hector found himself once more the only dog - but not for long.

Maybe it was a couple of years later than we expected, but Cilla has finally come to join us. Hector went down to Norfolk to meet Cilla and bring her back to Lincolnshire.

As a Tomas daughter Cilla has always been one of the family and she has fitted in straight away. Hector? He's besotted!
