Crufts here we come!
Puppies on parade.
31/01/2026
Hello there! Trixie here!
I met up with my sister again, and this time we had two shows in one day.
First we went to Manchester (although it was actually Stafford, which I found a bit confusing!). This was a huge show with lots of dogs of all shapes and sizes. We strutted our stuff, and my sister got Best Puppy and I came second to her. Apparently this means that we have 'qualified'. I didn't know what this meant, but I asked my mum when we got home and she says that now we can go to Crufts - which is the biggest dog show in the world!!!
The judge, Mr Tom Mather, wrote some very nice things about us both.
"Two charming litter sisters.
1st: Ridley Bronya. Best Puppy. Pleasing head with good eyes and strong jaw. Excellent forehand with good bone and nicely padded feet. Good body for age and good length of loin. Moved well.
2nd: 1396 Ridley Beatrix. Not quite as mature as her sister but has all her qualities. Pleasing head with a keen, feminine expression. Good balance. Very impressive on the move with strong driving rear action."
Then we had another show and my sister was Best Puppy again. This was a special show, and all the people were celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the breed club. They had a special cake and drinks with bubbles in them. I didn't get any cake - but I did get lots of yummy treats. Dog shows are fun!

p.s. This is what Amanda's bunting was for!
p.p.s. 'Not quite as mature' apparently means that I am still 'raw' - but at least I haven't been cooked yet!
