One of the good things about us is that, unlike some breeds, we don't shed. That means that the house isn't covered in covered in our hair! The downside is that we do need grooming on a regular basis. Actually, we quite like being groomed - it's nice to feel all fresh and smart - although for some of us that neat and tidy look doesn't always last very long! It was several weeks since Cilla had been clipped, and she was looking like a little shaggy dog, rather that a smart Cesky Terrier. Niki had never clipped a dog before, but she was really keen to try, so the boss sent her a link to a wonderful video made by a very special Czech lady called Jitka. Jitka knows everything about Cesky Terriers, because her father created our breed!

Niki watched it carefully, and then she had a go with Cilla, who was a really good girl and stood very still until she was finished. We think Niki has done a really good job. We wanted to take some nice photos, but Cilla wanted to run round with Hector, so after a few minutes she didn't look quite so neat and tidy! Never mind, Cilla - we'll take some more photos next time you are groomed.

Now she's got the grooming bug, Niki is going to clip Hector next......
